HyperOptimal Privacy Policy Last updated: July 14, 2026 Contact: team@hyperoptimal.com Summary HyperOptimal is a private habit, planning, OKR, focus, and accountability app. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users and invited accountability group members. Information We Collect We collect information you provide or generate while using the app, including account information such as email address, phone number where provided, full name, display name, authentication identifiers, and account settings; habit, task, weekly planning, OKR, hour timer, streak, note, support, uploaded image or screenshot, proof image, and progress data; team and accountability information such as member names, email addresses, phone numbers, notification preferences, invite status, and notification logs; push tokens and device notification identifiers needed to deliver notifications; subscription status and purchase information needed to confirm your access; and support requests or related messages you send to us. We do not receive your full payment card details. How We Use Information We use information to provide and maintain HyperOptimal, authenticate users, sync app data across your devices, process subscription access, calculate streaks and progress summaries, store user content you add, deliver allowed notifications, send allowed accountability updates, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, enforce limits, measure app reliability and permitted advertising performance, and comply with legal or app store obligations. Accountability Groups and Messaging When you share a group invite link or add a one-way accountability contact, the recipient information you provide can include a name, email address, and phone number. Recurring accountability updates are sent only to accepted group members or allowed contacts whose notification preferences allow that channel. Every recurring notification attempt is logged for delivery auditing, safety, and rate limiting. Members can manage preferences or unsubscribe using links included in accountability messages. Subscriptions and Purchases Current organization subscriptions are handled by Stripe on the HyperOptimal website. Installed apps show access status but do not start or manage payment. Stripe and its payment partners process payment details under their own policies; HyperOptimal does not receive your full payment card number. Historical app store purchase records may remain only to preserve existing-account access while migration is incomplete. We use purchase and subscription metadata only to determine whether your app access is active and to support billing-related account questions. Trusted Partners We work with trusted partners to operate HyperOptimal, including cloud authentication, database, storage, app hosting, app store, subscription, email, push notification, support, security, analytics, and advertising measurement providers. These partners may process information only as needed to provide HyperOptimal, keep the app reliable, and support allowed measurement. Advertising Measurement and Tracking Choices The app is not built around advertising and does not sell personal information. On native app builds, HyperOptimal asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling advertiser tracking or advertising measurement through Meta app events. On the web app, HyperOptimal may use the Meta Pixel for page and product interaction measurement. If tracking permission is denied on native builds, the app still works and advertiser tracking remains disabled. Data Retention We retain app data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce rate limits, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, the app deletes or anonymizes user-owned app data and removes notification eligibility. Some records may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, fraud prevention records, or records we are required to keep. Your Choices You can update profile information in Settings; delete habits, tasks, notes, and other user content where supported in the app; manage the current organization subscription through Stripe billing on the HyperOptimal website; control notification permissions and tracking permission through device settings; delete your account from Settings; and, for accountability group members, manage notification preferences or unsubscribe from message links. Children The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required. Security We use access controls, private storage rules, and other safeguards designed to protect user data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so contact us if you believe an account or message has been misused. International Transfers Trusted partners may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. By using the app, you understand that information may be processed outside your location. Changes We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the date above when material changes are made.
